With the second Wiquek Ordeal completed with the invaluable assistance of Kllalam Chapter, we gained over 20 new brothers who accomplished many work projects that the Staff at Camp La-No-Che and the scouters who attend the camp will value for years to come. Wiquek Chapter would like to welcome all of its new members to the Order of the Arrow... [Read More]

Meeting Update: Next meeting at WyoTech, Wednesday the 28th.
Several important pieces of information: This past weekend, Wiquek Chapter attended the Service Weekend at La-No-Che, with 11 youth members and 8 adults. There will be a full report of the Service Weekend inside the next Newsletter edition. Suffice it to say, at this point, that everyone had a good time.
Secondly, Wiquek Chapter also held our chapter elections. The results were as follows:
Chapter Chief - Ben Rhoades
First Vice Chief - Alex Scalf
Second Vice Chief - Jacob Wills
That's all for main leadership. We also elected a Historian and Treasurer. Look for their names in the next newsletter.
A few other important pieces of information: This next weekend, after our Chapter Meeting, we will be having a second meeting of sorts, at Go-Cart City. The cost will be $15 (group fee if we have more than 10 people attend, which is almost assured, however please bring some extra just in case you would like to spend it on games, etc...). More information will be provided at the next Chapter Meeting. If you cannot attend, that information will be available here on the website right after.

Meeting Update: Next meeting at WyoTech, Wednesday the 27th.
Tomorrow our Chapter Meeting will once again be help at the WyoTech building at 7:00 p.m.
Several items that we will be going over:
The events of the LLDP and the information that we learned there.
So a head's up for the people that went (myself, Alex Scalf, and Tommy Morrissey), be prepared to talk about
the classes that you attended and what you learned during the weekend. We will also be presenting the Chapter's Kings Cup Display (recently featured at the LLDP). From there we can decide how we are going to improve it. We will also have a discussion about current and future chapter patches, the upcoming troop unit elections, future events (specifically fun stuff like parties, bowling, picnics, etc...but also service projects such as Project One day). We have also recieved the criteria for Best All-Around Chapter, and we are going to attempt to achieve this award this year.
We have also been notified of several OA high adventure camps that might possibly interest some of you.
So in essence, be prepared for an informative meeting. Hopefully there will also be some sort of activity for everyone to participate in (most likely
a COPE-esque type of activity that builds on teamwork, etc...).
And, as always, feel free to bring food to share around the meeting. For those of you who are on the Communications committee, this is the time when you should start calling the people on your lists. Let's try to have an attendence record that is slightly more diverse.
Thanks!
